Medical Assistance & Equipment Program

Medical equipment available free-of-charge at any of our retail stores 

Goodwill Gulf Coast’s “We Share Project” provides adaptive medical equipment (such as wheelchairs, walkers, and personal care items) at no cost to residents in our 10-county service area in southwest Alabama and northwest Florida. Items are subject to availability/pick-up at our retail stores but could include walkers, wheelchairs, bath benches, canes, bedside commodes, shower chairs, adult diapers and pull-ups, and more. "We Share" is supported by funding from the Alabama Department of Rehabilitation’s STAR Program.

The Children’s Medical Assistance program provides financial assistance to individuals with disabilities for the purchase of medical supplies, adaptive equipment, devices, environmental modifications, or services which would lead to an improved quality of life and greater independence. Eligibility is based on evidence of need and area of residency, and is subject to availability of funding.
